What is Hard Boiled Books?
Hard Boiled Books is an offshoot of The Pulp Fiction Book Store that only sells crime and mystery books. In addition to giving our mysteries their own showcase, we wanted to showcase some of the current crop of mystery and intrigue writers that are creating some wonderful works of crime writing.

What genres of books does Hard Boiled Books specialize in?
We focus on crime, mystery, intrigue, espionage and thrillers. Murder most foul. Noir and hard-boiled. To steal a phrase: if it bleeds it leads.
What formats are your books in?
All of our eBooks are in the .epub format. Our .epub files are tested and verified to be Ver. 3+ compliant. We also make sure that our .epub books are backward compatible to Ver. 2.0 readers.
The independent authors that also publish on this platform may publish in .epub or .pdf as they like.
At this time we are unable to publish paperback or hardback formatted books. Our independent authors can link to their paperback and hardback books wherever they are available.
Do you use DRM?
No we don’t use any DRM (Digital Rights Management software). However, all of our eBooks are copyrighted. We hope you’ll respect our work enough to respect our copyright also.
What payment process do you use?
We use Stripe to accept payments. You can either use your credit card or several of the online payments services through the Stripe gateway. We NEVER see your payment information. After your payment has been processed by the Processor, you are returned to this site where you will get a receipt with download links for your new Books. Click the links, download your Books and enjoy!
